Do What You Love!
Once upon a time, a man named Daniel Lemos lived in the beautiful city of Curitiba, Brazil. At 35 years old, Daniel found himself at a crossroads in life, yearning for something more fulfilling than his current path in the corporate world. Born and raised in Brazil, he had spent 31 years there, building a life with his wife, Ingrid, and their two daughters.
Daniel had succeeded in his career, graduating with a degree in International Business and climbing the ranks at the largest logistics company in Latin America. Yet, despite his accomplishments, he felt a void deep within him. It wasn't the company's or his colleagues' fault; it was simply that his heart longed for a more creative outlet.
The turning point came when Daniel and Ingrid welcomed their second daughter into the world. Holding his newborn in his arms, he realized life was too short to spend it unhappy. With a newfound determination, Daniel boldly decided to pursue his passion for photography (despite the uncertainty and fear that accompanied his decision); Daniel knew deep down that he was making the right choice for himself and his family.
Leaving behind the security of his corporate job was daunting, but Daniel was willing to take the risk to chase his dreams. With perseverance and dedication, he transformed his hobby into a thriving business, capturing the beauty of life through his lens.
For three years, Daniel immersed himself in the world of photography and content creation, building a portfolio of clients and honing his craft. Each click of the shutter brought him joy and fulfillment, confirming that he was on the right path.
But Daniel's journey didn't stop there. Fueled by a thirst for knowledge and experience, he made the difficult decision to uproot his family and move to the United States. In August 2019, they embarked on a new adventure, eager to expand their horizons and pursue further education.
Enrolling in a Digital Content Creation program, Daniel delved into the intricacies of photography, video production, graphic design, writing, and audio production. He discovered new ways to express his creativity and tell compelling stories with each course.
"I've learned that passion knows no bounds," Daniel often remarked, reflecting on his journey. "It's never too late to pursue your dreams and do what you love."
Today, at 35 years old, Daniel is thriving in his new profession as a social media specialist and content creator. Through his work, he empowers businesses to share their stories and connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.
As he looks back on his journey, Daniel is grateful for the challenges and opportunities that have shaped him into the person he is today. With a smile on his face and a camera in hand, he continues to live by his life motto: "Do what you love, and do a lot of it."
